Full Stack Developer (Flask/FastAPI, Python)

Responsibilities

• Design and build the foundation for cloud-based applications.
• Develop and deploy applications using Amazon Web Services.
• Create and maintain REST APIs using Flask/FastAPI.
• Implement engineering solutions and automations to enforce standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
• Manage systems using infrastructure as code tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in object-oriented Python and developing serverless functions with Boto.
• Solid understanding/experience of networking, virtualization, storage, containers, and serverless architecture.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications using AWS (EKS, S3, Dynamo, Compute, EBS volumes).
• Demonstrated experience with building Flask/FastAPI based REST APIs.
• Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, OpenTofu, ARM, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and deploying applications into EKS.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer.
• Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration.
• Ability to triage and execute root cause analysis under pressure.
