About the position

As a Full Stack Developer at Peoples Energy Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality workflow management tool tailored for utilities. This tool will help our clients streamline their customer operations, improve efficiency, maximize outcomes, and reduce costs. You will work closely with our analytics, strategy, and marketing teams to ensure the tool meets the specific needs of the energy sector. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development, ensuring that the application is scalable, secure, and user-friendly. You will also be tasked with integrating the application with external systems and APIs, maintaining and updating the existing codebase, and providing technical support and training to users and internal teams. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies will be crucial to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive workflow management tool for utility companies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architecture, and define API contracts.
  • Implement both front-end and back-end components of the application.
  • Ensure the application is scalable, secure, and easy to use.
  • Integrate the application with external systems and APIs as required.
  • Maintain and update existing codebase to improve functionality and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to users and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer with a portfolio of relevant projects.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
  • Experience with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java).
  • Experience with database design and management (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and API integration.
  • Knowledge of the energy utility sector is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
