About the position

The Full Stack Developer position at IT Concepts involves supporting the Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.C. The role requires a flexible software developer with experience in both frontend and backend web application development, capable of delivering web solutions for federal government projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong process transformation skills and be comfortable working with various development technologies and methodologies, including Agile practices. The position emphasizes collaboration with government leads to develop site concepts and architecture, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Update and create customized web applications, including Tableau Dashboards.
• Implement software code and debug technical issues.
• Research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements.
• Work with government lead to develop site concepts and architecture.
• Deliver web solutions for federal government projects using multiple programming languages.
• Collaborate with developers and non-developers to solve technical challenges and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an associate's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with at least one backend language such as .NET, C#, Java, Python, or Go.
• Professional experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and React.
• Strong SQL skills or experience with ORMs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to turn loose requirements into solutions.
• Experience using version control with GitLab or GitHub.
• Proficient in relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Dynamo, Postgres, and MongoDB.

Nice-to-haves

• Full stack experience.
• Comfortable using a variety of tech stacks such as .NET/C#/Windows/SQL Server and Linux/Python/Postgres.
• Security+ certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue, Solid, or Angular.
• Familiarity with data analytics and data visualization tools.
• Experience with UI design and the Atlassian suite of tools.
