About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a high-profile Government Agency on mission-critical initiatives. This role offers a fantastic growth opportunity for an individual with 3-4 years of experience, focusing on both refinement and maintenance-type development. The ideal candidate will work independently within a technical team, coding primarily in C# and demonstrating strong front-end framework experience, preferably in Angular, Vue, or React. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications based on customer-driven requirements, contributing to system-level design, and providing full life cycle support for software.

Requirements

  • Four (4) year college degree in Software Development or Computer Science with 3 years of Professional full-time experience as a Software Developer or seven (7) years of full-time professional software development experience in lieu of a formal degree
  • Diverse programming languages including C#, Powershell, Angular (Vue, React, or Ember may be optional), ASP.NET and .NET Core, SQL, XML, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), HTML, JavaScript, Microservices Architecture
  • Capable of identifying technical strategies to interpret disparate software applications by authoring original software programs
  • Strong with writing programs that achieve a desired outcome or workflow from vague original concepts
  • Proficiency in producing specifications and design documentation such as process flow, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web service interface specifications, data dictionary, data model
  • Creating project work estimates and implementing solutions

  • Experience with containers
  • Azure experience or exposure

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to system-level design and partitioning to optimize overall system performance and reliability
  • Translate detailed design into computer software
  • Test, debug, and refine computer software to produce the required product
  • Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation
  • Enhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency
  • Provide full life cycle support for software including user interaction
