About the position

Alpha Omega Integration LLC is seeking a Full Stack Programmer Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position is fully remote and requires a Public Trust clearance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack software applications within a low-code Oracle environment. This role involves eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing, and implementing efficient and effective solutions using the APEX tool suite. Additionally, the candidate will troubleshoot, maintain, and modernize existing applications while effectively communicating with project leadership and other staff members. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in full-stack application development and must be proficient in SQL back ends. The role requires close collaboration with Alpha Omega, its clients, and any third-party staff, including subject matter experts and project managers. The candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a superb work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work on a variety of projects as a team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time-management skills, are essential for success in this position. Candidates must have 1-3 years of direct experience in application development, along with prior production support and software operations and maintenance (O&M) experience. Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, as well as Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications. Experience in Agile development and DevSecOps, along with prior experience working in a government setting, is highly desirable. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack software applications in a low-code Oracle environment.
  • Elicit and capture business requirements for software applications.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective solutions using the APEX tool suite.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and modernize existing applications.
  • Communicate effectively with project leadership and other staff members.
  • Support the development and application of best practices, program standards, and conventions.
  • Analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality, and maintainability.
  • Support all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including operations and maintenance (O&M) support.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of direct experience in application development.
  • Prior production support and software O&M experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with SOAP based Web Services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (SVN, Git).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications.
  • Experience in Agile development / DevSecOps.
