The Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in the management of a large residential property in San Jose, CA, which consists of over 150 units. This position involves assisting the Property Manager in various day-to-day operations, ensuring that the property is well-maintained and that residents have a positive living experience. The Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent is responsible for tenant relations, maintenance administration, rent collection, marketing, and general administration. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining occupancy rates and minimizing delinquency, while also providing exceptional service to residents and prospective tenants. In this position, the Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent will be involved in completing lease applications, collecting rent, and serving notices regarding rent increases or lease infractions. They will conduct move-in and move-out inspections, greet prospective tenants, and provide tours of the community and available units. The role also includes maintaining traffic reports, participating in resident functions, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
