About The Position

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Homecare or Long-term care preferred.
• Valid New York State RN License.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Must have access to a reliable automobile and be willing to cover two boroughs (Brooklyn & Queens or Bronx & Manhattan).

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family situations for nursing and health-related issues.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
• Document all nursing services provided in a timely manner and prepare periodic reports to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Instruct and supervise patients, caregivers, and home health aides in aspects of patient care as appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
