About the position

The Sales Associate position at Lowe's focuses on delivering exceptional customer service in the Lawn & Garden department. Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service to customers in the Lawn & Garden department.
• Assist customers with home improvement project needs and product selection.
• Validate loading tickets and process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Engage in safe work practices and encourage others to do the same.
• Listen to customers and provide expertise to help them with their needs.
• Load merchandise for customers and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Report any safety or security concerns around the store entrance.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience using a computer for data entry and information access.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months of sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs.
• 6 months of retail experience providing customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Bilingual skills, if applicable to the store.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
