As a Full Time Sales Associate at Lowe's, you will play a vital role in delivering quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment. This includes greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, validating loading tickets, and accurately processing orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of merchandise. You will also engage in safe work practices and encourage your colleagues to do the same, contributing to a safe shopping environment. In this role, you will be responsible for helping customers select the right products, ensuring that quotes are accurate, verifying price labels, and confirming that all customer needs are met. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering excellent customer service, which involves listening to customers, providing knowledgeable assistance, and loading merchandise for them. The responsibilities of a Customer Service Associate may vary depending on the department you support, which could include areas such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. Depending on hiring needs and your skillset, you may be considered for any of these areas. While this position does not require regular travel, there may be occasional travel for meetings, training sessions, or to support neighboring stores. You will generally be scheduled for 39 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours based on store needs. Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week is required, and physical ability to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting is essential.
