About the position
The Full-time Security Officer position at Sunstates Security involves providing security services at a high-profile client site in Youngsville, NC. The role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the safety and security of the facility while delivering excellent customer service. The position is full-time, specifically during the 3rd shift from 12am to 8am, Monday through Friday, and includes responsibilities such as front desk duties, monitoring access, and conducting interior foot patrols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility by directing visitors and answering calls at the front desk.
- Conduct interior foot patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Read and understand Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to act accordingly.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Prior security and receptionist experience is required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Good work ethic and solid report writing skills.
- Must attend licensing class in Raleigh if not currently licensed.
