About the position

Seeking a skilled Java Developer. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications. This role involves working on enterprise-level projects, integrating with various systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend components.
• Work with frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Kafka.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth development and deployment.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Implement best coding practices and contribute to code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java (8+) and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Proficiency in working with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to frontend technologies like Angular or React.
• Experience in enterprise-level applications and financial/banking industry projects.
