About the position

The Game Management Videographer position at Cal Poly Pomona Foundation involves capturing live footage of home athletic events and practices. This role is essential for documenting the dynamic nature of intercollegiate athletics, requiring videographers to be highly attentive to the action on the court or field. The position is part-time and non-exempt, offering a pay range of $16.00 to $35.00 per hour. As the largest employer of students on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, the Foundation provides valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 students annually, contributing to their professional development in various fields including technology, science, and management. Videographers will be expected to respond quickly to changes during events, ensuring that all significant moments are captured effectively. This role not only enhances the visibility of Bronco Athletics but also supports the Foundation's mission of contributing to campus life and student engagement. The position requires excellent communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods is also a requirement, as videographers will be on-site during events to ensure comprehensive coverage. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making flexibility and a willingness to learn key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities
