About The Position

The Guitar Center Retail Instructor is responsible for teaching music lessons to students, following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. This role focuses on increasing student enrollment and ensuring that each student enjoys their musical journey while fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, and respect. The position emphasizes the importance of musical passion, student focus, and effective communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard)

Responsibilities

• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
• Communicate with students or parents of students on progress of each student (where applicable)
• Assist with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience
• Additional duties as assigned
