GCP Python Developer

About the position

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data warehousing and analytics, and be able to work with both structured and unstructured data sources. This position requires a deep knowledge of SQL and experience with various data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications for data processing and analytics.
• Utilize Google Cloud services such as Cloud Run and Pubsub for application deployment and messaging.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using Google Cloud Big Query.
• Work with DataProc and DataFlows to process large datasets.
• Apply serverless data warehousing concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Engage in data mapping and modeling to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret data.

Requirements

• Strong Python Development Experience is mandatory.
• Demonstrable knowledge & Experience using Google Cloud Big Query is mandatory.
• Extensive experience working with SQL across a variety of databases.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources using cloud analytics.
• Experience with Data Mapping and Modelling.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud Run and Pubsub is highly desired.
• Experience with DataProc & DataFlows on Google Cloud Platform is desired.
• Experience with serverless data warehousing concepts on Google Cloud is highly desired.
• Experience with DWBI modelling framework is highly regarded.
