About the position
Canyon Ranch is seeking a General Maintenance Technician II to join their team at their Lenox, Massachusetts location. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in facility maintenance, particularly in commercial settings. The technician will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of the facility and providing a safe and pleasant environment for guests. The role requires a jack of all trades who can work independently and is comfortable with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair doors, cabinetry, and millwork.
- Maintain and repair plumbing and related equipment.
- Maintain pools and surrounding areas.
- Maintain lighting through frequent bulb replacement and occasional fixture or ballast replacement.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in general maintenance is required.
- One year of commercial maintenance technician work is preferred.
- Must possess a working knowledge of carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and associated building trades.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice-to-haves
- Certified pool operator license is preferred.
- Experience in gym equipment maintenance is a plus.
