About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for protecting and delivering the Del Taco Brand, growing sales while maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the restaurant by leading the Del Taco Way. This position reports to the Area Director and involves fully staffing the store, ensuring team certification, creating a service-oriented culture, and promoting teamwork. The General Manager will also evaluate performance, recommend salary increases, and administer disciplinary actions as necessary. Additionally, the role includes executing Del Taco standards, maintaining the facility, delivering quality products, and ensuring a consistent service experience. The General Manager is tasked with achieving or exceeding sales plans, increasing customer counts, and managing controllable costs effectively.
