About the position

The General Manager at McAlister's Deli is responsible for leading the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving financial goals. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness standards, effective communication with staff, and fostering a positive work environment. The General Manager will also participate in training and development initiatives to ensure the team meets company performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct staff in an effective and professional manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness standards set by health regulations.
  • Communicate goals to employees and guide them in achieving these goals.
  • Participate in all company training and orientations, including potential overnight travel.

  • Perform all job functions safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a management role.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have daytime availability.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems.
