About The Position

Cloudpoint Geospatial is seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects aimed at expanding services to local governments, campuses, and utilities. This role involves collaboration with a team of GIS professionals to tackle industry challenges, ensuring effective communication with clients and maintaining organized project documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and professionalism in client interactions, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physical or natural science, geography, engineering, planning, computer science, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience managing projects
• GIS Professional Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Experience with Esri's ArcGIS Enterprise
• Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in basic office applications and the ability to learn new hardware and software components

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with local and county government, utilities, and/or campus facilities
• Master's degree in GIS or related field

Responsibilities

• Managing project resources, schedules, and budgets
