About the position

The Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) for North America Commercial and Global Medical Affairs is a strategic role that involves collaborating with leadership teams to drive HR initiatives that align with business strategies. The HRBP will work closely with the VP of Human Resources and other business leaders to address complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions, ensuring a consistent application of HR practices across the enterprise. This position requires a strong focus on talent management, performance management, and organizational design, leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making and enhance employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Leadership Teams for North America Commercial Operations and Global Medical Affairs.
  • Set the HR strategic direction with input from Global Leadership Group (GLG) and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs).
  • Lead strategic workforce planning applying CSL's methodology.
  • Oversee large-scale organization design and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide daily leadership coaching to leadership teams and senior people leaders.
  • Lead the talent agenda, ensuring robust development plans and succession pipelines are in place, incorporating DEI activities.
  • Partner with COEs to guide organizational effectiveness through performance, engagement, and culture programs.
  • Utilize business acumen and data analytics to inform and drive decision-making.
  • Support leaders with cyclical processes such as IPM, annual merit review, and engagement surveys.
  • Advise on employee relations cases and contribute to risk management decisions.
  • Accountable for strategic industrial relations outcomes and ensure consistency across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 12 - 15 years of HR experience, including generalist and specialist roles.
  • Experience leading HR within a global environment or commercial operations function.
  • Experience acting as the senior HR business partner for a global business or commercial function.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in organizational design and transformation.
  • Strong background in data analytics and performance management.
  • Familiarity with DEI initiatives and practices.
