About the position

The Senior Global Group Manager for Clinical and Portfolio Marketing at Boston Scientific is responsible for developing and executing marketing and business strategies for the Global Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio. This role focuses on clinical marketing, competitive intelligence, and brand marketing, while also building high-performance teams and managing comprehensive business plans to achieve franchise objectives. The position requires a strong background in marketing highly technical and clinical products, with an emphasis on franchise management and product commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Build a high-performance marketing team, recruiting, selecting, training and developing top marketing talent.
  • Ensure alignment of direct reports' annual performance objectives and support individual development plans.
  • Set strategic direction for the business and formulate actionable business plans to achieve franchise objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of business plans through appropriate strategies, tactics, and action plans.
  • Develop annual operational budget for the business and ensure resource availability for plan execution.
  • Utilize marketing science tools for market analysis and manage strategies to eliminate market barriers.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend business development opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the global clinical and competitive landscape to support data-driven decisions.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset among team members.
  • Leverage industry and market knowledge to address complex business issues.
  • Develop relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders, providing leadership and coaching.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of professional related experience.
  • 5+ years of work experience in medical device marketing, strategy, business, clinical and/or sales operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with clinical data in a commercial medical device setting.
  • Ability to drive communications strategies and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven business acumen.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% including internationally.
