About the position

The Golden Peanut FP&A Analyst position is focused on partnering across the finance organization to drive actions that improve business performance. The role involves assisting with the annual business plan, coordinating the development and reporting of the business financial forecast, and evaluating assumptions while assessing risks and understanding variances against prior and planned results. The analyst will establish performance tracking processes and KPIs for the business, support and educate the business on return metrics, prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and benchmark the company's financial and operating results against industry performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner across the finance organization with a focus on driving actions that improve the business performance
• Assist with the annual business plan including operating, capital and financial components
• Coordinate with the development and reporting of the business financial forecast
• Evaluate assumptions, assess risks and understand variances vs. prior and vs. plan
• Establish performance tracking process and KPIs for business
• Partner with the business to support, educate, and track return metrics
• Prepare external and internal presentations for business as needed
• Benchmark company's financial and operating results against industry performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (A Master's degree is a plus)
• Minimum of 7 years in financial role, business development, or accounting role
• Demonstrated capacity to handle diverse number of projects simultaneously
• Strong ability to collaborate with a multi-cultural and cross-functional team
• Independent, inquisitive and a self-starter
• Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Power Point and Excel)
• Understanding of business intelligence tools
