About the position

The Government Contract Program Manager at C4 Advanced Tactical Systems is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned defense contract programs, including cost, schedule, and technical performance. This role serves as a liaison between the organization and its customers, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and facilitating communication across various functional areas such as engineering, procurement, and production. The position requires a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and risk mitigation, while also participating in business development and continual process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand contractual requirements for the manufacture of complex electro-mechanical and Electro-Optics sub-assemblies.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract provisions and mitigate risks including engineering, quality, manufacturability, supply chain, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, customer service, and warranty.
  • Ensure master plans and schedules are followed, and products are manufactured to contract specifications and delivered on time with zero defects.
  • Develop solutions to program challenges and direct functional areas for successful project completion on time and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain robust ethical relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Participate in supplier quality surveys and supplier performance rating reporting.
  • Participate in proposal development process and business development.
  • Work with planning, procurement, production, engineering, quality, and finance to ensure integrity of ERP system transactions.
  • Prepare, report, and communicate program issues, concerns, and performance metrics to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participate in continual process improvement focusing on program management areas.
  • Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for program management and planning processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Program Management.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and databases.
  • Experience in the defense industry is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
