GPR Analyst

About the position

The GPR Analyst position at Penhall Technologies involves performing ground penetrating radar scans to identify and evaluate various underground structures and utilities. The role requires direct client interaction, data documentation, and report writing, with a strong emphasis on technical aptitude and the ability to work independently. Extensive training is provided to ensure success in the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground penetrating radar scans at customer sites, primarily construction sites.
• Identify and locate underground utilities, including metallic and plastic pipes, rebar patterns, and post-tension cables.
• Evaluate voids and deterioration within concrete and measure slab thickness.
• Document critical data and write comprehensive reports on findings.
• Communicate findings effectively to clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical aptitude and background in GPR, concrete scanning, utility location, or general construction.
• Excellent communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write reports and document data accurately.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Authorized to work in the US.
