About the position

Responsible for coordinating and developing process improvement and Operation Standardization across Ground Operations. Using data to drive the direction of Ground Ops strategy, with a focus on identifying opportunities, will influence short-term and long-term planning cycles to support our ground support equipment, mobile devices and workforce. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain forecast models and predictive analysis on Department Metrics
  • Conduct planning and analysis for operational staffing, ground support equipment, mobile devices and personal protective equipment (PPE) by facilitating the development of models with defined standards that accurately represent Station needs
  • Deliver analysis and solutions or recommendations that illustrate a clear understanding of the business problem at hand as well as the broader impact across the Operational group and Company
  • Develop financial and operational standards to reflect Ground Ops strategy, as well as an implementation plan
  • Identify areas to improve operational performance and business process through an understanding of Customer/process insights, assurance data, strategic needs, and risk management
  • Lead projects and improvement efforts by defining objectives, structuring the work, directing Team Members, developing recommendations, and implementing changes
  • Participate in conducting business impact and risk assessments to determine people, process, and technology impacts at the Company, Department, and job-specific levels and determine the best approach for addressing impacts and risks
  • Work in collaboration with the Ground Ops Standards & Compliance at the Direction of the Sr Mgr to ensure operational procedures and processes are updated in all manuals and resulting audits prove compliant
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert to multiple internal and cross-Departmental projects and work as a liaison with other departments and workgroups to ensure Ground Ops needs are met when space planning based on operational needs
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in Airline Ground Operations
  • Applied statistics, business analytics, strategic planning, workforce planning, equipment forecasting, or finance
  • Predictive or prescriptive analysis
