About the position

The Grant Analyst position within the Finance Division of the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounting reports, managing budgets for grant programs, processing reimbursements, and overseeing grant management for water infrastructure programs. The role serves as the primary contact for invoice processing related to information technology services.

Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile accounting reports for the Finance Division.
  • Develop budgets for grant programs.
  • Process reimbursements related to grant management.
  • Manage water infrastructure programs.
  • Serve as the point of contact for invoice processing for the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in accounting, finance, and economic courses.
  • For Financial Analyst 10: One year of professional experience in financial analysis equivalent to a Financial Analyst 9.
  • For Financial Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience in financial analysis, including one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst 10.
