About the position

The position is responsible for improving, implementing, and maintaining Ground Operations training requirements. This includes achieving all training goals related to performance, safety, service, and regulatory compliance. The role involves performing various aspects of Ground Operations training, including Security training for Loadmasters, Passenger Service Representatives, LCF personnel, authorized representatives, vendor personnel, and handling agents. The individual will proactively anticipate problems and initiate actions to resolve issues related to training. Additionally, the position requires interaction with customers and vendors to ensure proper training requirements and procedures are followed. Monitoring and rating the work performance of attendees in both classroom and computer-based training (CBT) environments is also a key responsibility. The role includes compiling and updating training records for employees, customers, contractors, and vendor personnel, as well as instructing Flight Operations personnel on Company Ground Operations procedures. The individual will also be responsible for developing and updating training material and courseware as needed, and may be involved in other special projects as required by the Company. Performing Weight and Balance on aircraft is also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum aircraft-related experience level for ground operations instructors should include at least three of the following: Loadmaster certification and experience, Dangerous goods certification and experience, Teaching experience, Degree in related field, Training in a computer-based environment and/or develop CBT programs experience.
