About the position

The Group Coordinator Lead - Customer Service Rep at DHL is responsible for leading and managing the workflow of team members within various departments of the facility, including Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, and Order Selecting. This role combines leadership with hands-on work, requiring the individual to be the initial point of contact for associates while ensuring high customer service standards are met. The position involves training new associates, monitoring production, and providing constructive feedback, all while operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within assigned departments.
  • Train new associates and monitor production levels.
  • Provide constructive feedback to associates and assist the Supervisor in maintaining customer standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, handle complaints, and manage returns effectively.
  • Track and trace shipments, maintaining customer records and resolving product or service issues.
  • Coordinate special customer requests with transportation and operations departments.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and customers regarding account administration and credit charges.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role as a Team Lead or Workflow Planner.
  • Experience operating stand-up material handling equipment, such as Order Picker and Reach Truck.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handling, and Equipment Operation.
  • Skills in leading, supervising, and managing production teams.
