As a GSOC Operator Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing primary service support in various areas including security access control, alarm monitoring, fire system monitoring, emergency monitoring, threat alerting, CCTV monitoring, and dispatching personnel. This position is integral to the broad spectrum of specialized security services that Inter-Con provides to its clients every day. You will be part of a dedicated security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, ensuring a safe environment for public venues that require an enhanced security presence and asset protective services. In this role, you will be responsible for dispatching routine personnel and coordinating incident responses that occur on corporate premises or events. This includes responding to medical emergencies, fire emergencies, civil emergencies, and other incidents using appropriate communication methods. The GSOC serves as the main intake for all responsibilities assigned to this site, making your role vital in maintaining safety and security. Responsibilities

  • Dispatching routine personnel and coordinating incident responses that occur on corporate premises or events using appropriate communication methods.
  • Responding to medical emergencies, fire emergencies, civil emergencies, and other incidents as they arise.
  • Monitoring security access control and alarm systems.
  • Conducting fire system monitoring and emergency monitoring.
  • Alerting personnel to potential threats and coordinating responses accordingly.
  • Monitoring CCTV feeds and ensuring the security of the premises.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a security-related role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
