As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for creating beautiful braided hairstyles while ensuring client satisfaction and promoting salon services.

Responsibilities

• Perform various braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
• Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyles and provide expert recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Provide mentorship to junior stylists or interns in braiding techniques and salon best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and styling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Braider or in a similar role within the cosmetology field.
• Proficiency in various hair braiding techniques and styles.
• Familiarity with salon software for managing appointments and client records is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in the field of hair styling.
