For our Delivery Centers, we are looking for an IT Technology Services Expert with a strong technical background for supporting critical projects & administration in the Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery environment. You will be responsible to drive continuous improvement in order to increase operation, availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential within the new Enterprise Cloud Services program.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement to increase operation, availability, and efficiency.
- Participate in infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption.
- Work with the Center of Excellence teams comprising Database Administrator on Incident Management, Problem Management, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore.
- Organize and structure day-to-day documentation as needed.
- Take on-call duty and weekend tasks during working hours on a rotational basis.
Requirements
- Strong conceptual understanding & knowledge of RDBMS products in the market.
- Over 15+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team, primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms.
- Exposure to automation tools/scripting or processes.
- Experience in DB installations and upgrades, planning, setup, and implementation.
- Technical expertise in optimizing and tuning of Systems, including performance optimization.
- Knowledge of DB security, backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, system copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy.
Nice-to-haves
- Cloud knowledge (e.g., experience in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Professional Certification of Database Platforms.
- Exposure to Project Management tasks including PMP and ITIL certification.
