For our Delivery Centers, we are looking for an IT Technology Services Sr Consultant with a strong technical background for supporting critical projects & administration in the Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery environment. You will be responsible to drive continuous improvement to increase operation, availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential within the new Enterprise Cloud Services program.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement to increase operation, availability and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage the database landscape in large-scale productive environments.
- Ensure data integrity aspects and determine the most suitable recovery technique.
- Handle incidents around critical systems and ability to failover & failback as needed.
- Organize and structure day-to-day documentation as needed.
Requirements
- Strong conceptual understanding & knowledge on the RDBMS products in the market.
- Around 12+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team (primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms).
- Exposure to automation tools/scripting or processes.
- Experience in DB installations and upgrades, planning, setup and implementation.
- Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of systems.
- DB concept on security, backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, system copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy.
Nice-to-haves
- Willingness to take on-call duty/weekend tasks during working hours.
- Good knowledge of policy, workflow, group, and clients for configuring the backup.
- Clear understanding of Point-In-Time (PIT) and full recovery techniques.
