We are seeking an experienced Hardware Asset Manager to oversee the enterprise-wide management of digital technology hardware assets for a large insurance client. This role is crucial in gathering contract and entitlement information and utilizing that information to create entitlements in the Hardware Asset Management System. The primary focus will be on ensuring accurate position reporting and managing the hardware asset lifecycle effectively. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Hardware Asset Management and will be expected to collaborate with a diverse set of technical resources to ensure the smooth operation of hardware asset management processes. The Hardware Asset Manager will be responsible for populating hardware asset data into the asset tracking system, which includes procurement data, contract data, warranty information, and all related financial information. This position requires a thorough review and analysis of hardware contracts and maintenance agreements to establish entitlements accurately. The successful candidate will validate data between all systems of record and the asset management tool, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. In addition to data management, the Hardware Asset Manager will prepare and distribute both pre-defined and ad-hoc reports, identifying and recommending hardware for potential replacement or upgrades. The role also involves performing asset deployment versus entitlement reconciliations to identify over and under-utilization by product. The candidate will provide data insights for hardware agreement renewals, negotiations, and procurement decisions, focusing on ROI and cost avoidance. Monitoring changes in hardware warranty terms and conditions is also a key responsibility, along with tracking hardware entitlement data related to projects and resolving discrepancies. The successful candidate will identify and report potential issues with the asset tracking tool and supporting systems, developing and maintaining the Hardware Asset Management program and process documentation. This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week onsite in Omaha, NE, or Lynchburg, VA, and is expected to last for 12+ months with the potential to convert to a full-time employee (FTE) role.
