About the position

The In Home Support Worker position is designed for compassionate caregivers who provide essential support to children and adults with various disabilities. Caregivers will work in clients' homes and community settings, helping them achieve their desired quality of life through personalized care and support.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supporting clients in their daily needs
• Ensuring individual care plans are followed
• Collaborating with parents, clients, and team members to maintain quality support
• Providing one-on-one support according to individual needs
• Motivating clients to use their skills and apply their abilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a caregiver (professional or personal) or relevant role
• Experience working with children or adults with care needs
• Ability to follow care plans
• A compassionate and reliable personality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Active CNA, HCA, Para Education or LPN certification
• Nurse Delegation certification is a plus
