About the position

The Head of Capital Strategy & Growth Initiatives at Krause Group is a senior leadership role responsible for driving long-term growth and investment strategies across a diverse global portfolio. This position involves overseeing portfolio management, identifying new investment opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values. The role requires a visionary leader who can foster innovation, mentor teams, and influence business leaders to adopt strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio management across diverse asset classes, ensuring strategic alignment with Krause Group's vision.
  • Identify and evaluate potential target businesses for acquisition and investments.
  • Proactively identify acquisition targets and provide strategic guidance on due diligence and M&A processes.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and diversification.
  • Serve as the primary lead for the Investment Committee operations, overseeing content and strategic decision-making frameworks.
  • Monitor industry, market, and demographic trends to inform revenue strategies.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
  • Manage the growth budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate/business development, portfolio management, investment strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience within a family office, with a strong emphasis on investment strategy and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of driving success through innovation, strategic partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, or private equity.
  • Strong expertise in investments and portfolio management.
  • Direct or indirect experience with marketable securities or private equity investing.
  • History of decision-making based on business metrics and data analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in a Romance language is preferred.
  • Strong passion for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
