About the position

The Head of DD&T Support & Services for the Plasma-Derived Therapies Business Unit at Takeda is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing service delivery and infrastructure management. This position involves guiding talent leadership, managing a global team, and ensuring alignment of service projects with business and IT strategies. The role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and disaster recovery planning within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight, management, and accountability for service delivery within the PDT DD&T BU.
• Identify and address business needs related to donor center infrastructure and services and prioritize projects to align with overall business goals.
• Manage and develop a global team to support donor center services, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness and integration capabilities of donor center services, supporting geographic expansion.
• Oversee Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan for all PDT IT Infrastructure and Operations, coordinating with various support levels to ensure continuity.
• Lead and manage talent within the team, including executing training programs and individual growth plans.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of infrastructure and service projects.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Manage PDT Digital, Data, and Technology (DD&T) vendor relationships and negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors.

Requirements

• Proven executive leadership experience in managing service delivery, infrastructure, and operations.
• Strong background in talent leadership and team development.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and address business needs.
• Experience in managing global teams and supporting geographic expansions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Proficient in vendor management and budget oversight within IT and technical service environments.
