About the position

The Head of Growth at Napster is a pivotal role responsible for leading the company's growth strategies and initiatives. This position focuses on driving user engagement and retention through innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in growth marketing, particularly in the D2C sector, and a passion for music, aligning with Napster's mission to revolutionize the music industry once again.

Responsibilities

  • Establish Core Growth Marketing Competencies by implementing core MMP technology partners and relevant tracking platforms.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Drive user growth through multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
  • Utilize analytics and data insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize efforts based on performance metrics.
  • Enhance the brand's presence and reputation in the market, developing a strong brand voice and identity.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop marketing strategies for new features and updates, ensuring clear and compelling messaging.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, influencers, and communities to expand reach.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement and retention, creating community-building initiatives.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, preferably with D2C consumer entertainment or lifestyle subscription apps.
  • Proven track record of driving significant user growth and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Proficiency in analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset, results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is a huge plus.
