About the position

Mailchimp is seeking a Head of Product Management for Growth to lead product-led growth initiatives, focusing on customer acquisition and lifecycle strategies. This role involves optimizing the customer journey from demand generation to onboarding and subscriptions, ensuring a seamless experience that drives value for small and mid-market businesses. Responsibilities

  • Drive a comprehensive strategy for product-led growth and customer acquisition.
  • Optimize the customer journey from initial demand generation through onboarding and subscriptions.
  • Lead a team of product managers and managers of product managers.
  • Establish a vision and practices for a high-performing growth team.
  • Identify significant customer-focused product opportunities that drive business growth.
  • Align C-suite and senior executives on growth vision and trade-offs across objectives.
  • Implement a hypothesis-driven design approach for experimentation.
  • Create systems for consistent velocity and improvement within the team.
  • Define and execute Mailchimp's global product-led growth strategy.
  • Build a hyper-personalized user experience for diverse customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize customer lifecycle and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Work with analytics to define an experimentation and measurement strategy.
  • Drive prioritization and investment decisions for product vision and roadmaps.
  • Build and lead a team of 12+ product managers, promoting a culture of accountability and empathy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product-led growth and product leadership roles in marketing-technology or consumer-focused tech companies.
  • Proven track record of scaling companies and managing teams of leaders and individual contributors.
  • Ability to attract and retain top talent.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams through change and ambiguity.
  • Experience in hiring, developing, and retaining world-class product managers.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset for product decision-making.
  • Customer-obsessed with a focus on advocacy for customer needs.
  • Experience in full product lifecycle management and integrating customer feedback.
