About the position

The Head of Sales-Growth Verticals at ActiveProspect is responsible for driving revenue growth within specific verticals by managing both new and existing customer relationships. This role involves defining and executing go-to-market strategies, analyzing market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing profitability and budget for the vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the growth verticals pod team.
  • Research new vertical growth opportunities and align team resources to the total addressable market (TAM).
  • Analyze potential growth verticals and engage with industry stakeholders to enhance understanding of the landscape.
  • Advise marketing on the needs for identified growth verticals, including creating industry-specific materials.
  • Select appropriate industry events and trade shows to attend and represent the company.
  • Identify and execute partnerships with key players in the growth verticals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry contacts and influencers.
  • Make recommendations for positioning and packaging offerings for growth verticals.
  • Collaborate with the client success team to ensure customer satisfaction within the vertical.
  • Maximize ROI on the budget for the pod team and find creative ways to expand the budget.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in lead publishing, lead buying, or third-party lead generation.
  • Proven ability to grow a vertical from having customers to becoming a key market.
  • Consistent achievement of enterprise sales quotas.
  • Experience managing enterprise sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills for articulating complex SaaS value propositions.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility in work.
  • Initiative for learning and problem-solving.
  • High standards of performance and teamwork.
