About the position

The Head of Strategic Initiatives for Growth Ventures at BNY Mellon is a senior-level role that provides direct support to the Chief Growth Officer. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives, and facilitating communication and coordination among the executive team. The role requires a strong focus on accountability, transparency, and the ability to navigate a complex organizational structure while driving results and improving operational models.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the shaping and execution of key strategic initiatives requiring high involvement from the Chief Growth Officer.
• Manage and support the Chief Growth Officer's external activities, including client meetings and conferences.
• Assemble the Growth Ventures executive team to prioritize key areas for the Chief Growth Officer's attention.
• Track notes and circulate follow-ups from executive meetings and plan touch points.
• Strategically assist the Chief Growth Officer in decision-making and improving the Growth Ventures operating model.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in Financial Services and/or consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline required.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to articulate complex information clearly to various audiences.
• High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
