About the position
Super Soccer Stars is seeking a passionate and responsible Head Youth Sports Coach to join our team in East Hampton, NY. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income while making a positive impact on children's lives through sports. The role requires at least one day of weekend availability, with the fall season running from early September through mid-December and the spring season from early April through June. Coaches will be expected to commit to consistent availability each season to ensure staffing at locations with regular hours. The hours may vary based on location, availability, and the number of coaches hired at the time of employment. During the winter and summer months, coaching hours may be limited due to lower demand. As a Head Youth Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering a fun and educational curriculum that teaches soccer fundamentals to children aged 1-12. You will work in various settings, including schools, recreation centers, daycare facilities, and local fields. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $25, with the potential to earn $30 based on education and experience. Training is provided and is a mix of virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring that you are well-prepared to support the mission of Youth Athletes United, which aims to empower kids through sport. We are looking for individuals who are committed to their own growth and the development of others. Effective communication is essential, as you will need to relay questions, comments, and concerns to the operations and coaching staff. Reliable transportation is necessary, as classes are held at various locations, and access to a mobile device with service is required to view your online schedule. Additionally, a device with a camera may be needed for virtual training sessions. Responsibilities
- Deliver fun and educational soccer classes to children aged 1-12.

- Attend paid training sessions, both virtual and in-person, to enhance coaching skills.
- Commit to consistent availability during the fall and spring seasons.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience coaching and/or working with children.
- Experience working with children with learning, developmental, or physical disabilities is a plus.
- Experience working with 1-2 year olds is a plus.
- Access to reliable transportation to various class locations.
- Access to a mobile device with service to view the online schedule.
- Access to a device with a camera for virtual training sessions.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a soccer coach, teacher, or camp counselor.
