About the position

The Healthcare Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze healthcare data, and create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, healthcare systems, and BI tools, contributing to the enhancement of human-centric healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing data validation and quality checks.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions and data sources.
• Create and maintain documentation for BI processes and solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years EPIC experience required
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
• 3+ years Managed Care experience
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with ETL processes and data integration is a plus.
