Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate level troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy trailers and trucks under supervision.
• Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting.
• Perform computer diagnostics.
• Perform part diagnostics, repair and replacement.
• Perform engine diagnostics.
• Perform emissions troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform brake system diagnostics and repair.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to two years heavy trailer, truck equipment repair and maintenance experience.
• Technical or trade school training in the field of diesel mechanics desirable.
• Valid AK driver's license.
• Must own a basic tool kit to perform the job.

• Intermediate level skills diagnosing and repairing brake systems.
