Helicopter communications specialists will be supporting a fleet of AW-169 helicopters and associated flight operations. This position will be locally based at Quonset State Airport (RI). Duties & Responsibilities Effectively schedule daily flight operations to meet customer demands Communicate directly with airborne aircraft to ensure task completion Provide flight following and locating services to company helicopters Interact with Customs and Border Patrol for passenger and cargo processing Prepare statistics and data for customers, management, and flight operations Communicate with airport operations and fuel suppliers Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) Prepare customer invoices for daily flight operations Coordinate and schedule required customer training Qualifications Required: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Quick thinking and flexible to ensure task completion Ability to manage several tasks and communications streams at once Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn systems Preferred: Prior experience with dispatching and flight locating Familiarity with radio communications Private Pilot's License (PPL) Experience with helicopter operations About HeliService USA: First operation of its kind in the U.S. to support offshore wind operations.
