About the position

CrafTech Computer Solutions is seeking a dedicated Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist with L2 - L3 experience to join their team. This full-time position involves providing exceptional technical support and service to clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service, working in a dynamic environment that embraces innovative technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for clients, addressing issues related to Microsoft Windows server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and more.
  • Manage and troubleshoot virtual environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Install and configure firewalls and switches, ensuring network security compliance with HIPAA and PCI standards.
  • Assist in backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Support Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure environments, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Act as an escalation point for team members, providing guidance and support on projects.
  • Multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, managing projects from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of help desk experience, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows server installation and configuration.
  • Experience with virtual environments, specifically Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Proficient in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Experience with firewall installation and configuration, as well as network cabling.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Understanding of VOIP systems and network security compliance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RMM suites, preferably ConnectWise Manage & Automate.
  • Knowledge of CyberSecurity compliance standards.
