About the position
As a driver for Veolia, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential services to local communities. Your work will involve driving to planned collection locations and loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle. You will also be responsible for completing daily checks of the vehicle and using onboard technology to complete work notes. Compliance with all traffic laws and legislation is essential, as is maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times. This position is a night shift role, working 40 hours a week from 23:00 to 07:30, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Driving to planned collection locations and loading recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle
- Completing daily checks of the vehicle and using onboard technology to complete work notes
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation
- Ensuring a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 License
- An up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
