Responsibilities
- Drive assigned truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding routes and any issues that arise during transport.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of freight as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- At least 25 years old.
- Two years of verifiable full-time CDL Class A experience within the past three years.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months.
- No more than 2 speeding violations in the last 12 months.
- No serious preventable accidents within the past 3 years.
- Ability to use a smartphone for communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with dry van trailers.
- Familiarity with ELD systems.
- Previous experience in a similar trucking role.
