About the position
Pies & Pints is looking for charismatic, hard-working, and detail-oriented team members for the position of Host. We are recognized for our fun and unique pizza creations and have been featured by the Food Network, the Cooking Channel, and USA Today. We want team members who are eager to help us continue our tradition of excellence in a fun, challenging, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Make people happy first and foremost.
- Clearly communicate with guests.
- Greet every guest with a genuine smile and in a professional manner.
- Walk guests to their table and engage in conversation as you seat them.
- Keep the seating chart organized and follow rotation as they seat the dining room.
- Contribute to the team-based environment by helping with the general cleanliness of the dining room and bussing tables when needed.
- Answer phones and assist guests with call-ahead seating or to-go orders.
Requirements
- Ability to work with a team and actively engage with other team members to achieve a common goal.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
