About the position

As a General Manager for Holiday Inn Cincinnati - Liberty Way, you'll have the opportunity to apply what you know, strengthen leadership skills, and much more. The Holiday Inn Cincinnati - Liberty Way has completed a major renovation and is set up for success in 2025. You will be responsible for maintaining a team of 15 team members ranging from the front desk, housekeeping, bar & restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity to step into an existing dedicated operations team and ramp up sales for the property.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of operations by exercising demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire your associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success.
  • Enable innovation and drive results by executing successful sales and marketing campaigns and understanding dynamic revenue management.
  • Build a rapport with ownership and partner closely with your owner to understand their priorities and exceed their expectations.
  • Demonstrate dependability and a sense of urgency about getting results.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly through the spoken word and actively listen.
  • Adapt and change course of action when appropriate and effectively transition from task to task.
  • Take action proactively and address issues or opportunities without supervision.
  • Manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks, responsibilities, and goals.
  • Work cooperatively with others to accomplish business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Hotel Management Experience (IHG Hotels experience preferred, but not required).
  • Opera Property Management System Experience preferred.
  • Proven record of independent, self-motivated work habits.
  • Ability to focus on the big picture as well as individual results.
  • Possess the ability to maximize hotel revenue through defined market segmentation.
  • History of superior controls and financial performance.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices and pre-established guidelines and procedures.
