About the position

As a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant at Love's, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that our guests expect. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are kept in pristine condition, promoting an environment of comfort and satisfaction. You will be expected to greet customers warmly, assist them with their needs, and respond to inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in customer service. Your daily tasks will include changing and replacing bed linens and towels, sanitizing and cleaning restrooms, dusting and wiping down surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, and restocking room amenities. You will also be responsible for maintaining your personal workstation, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to safety practices to maintain a safe working environment. In addition to your cleaning duties, you will have the opportunity to engage with guests, addressing their requests and resolving any issues that may arise. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest has a positive experience during their stay. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Change and replace all bed linens and towels.
  • Sanitize and clean all restrooms.
  • Dust and wipe down all room surfaces including windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
  • Vacuum and mop all floors.
  • Restock all room amenities.
  • Ensure all rooms are set up to company standards.
  • Clean and maintain personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, and amenities.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety-first practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn and operate a cash register.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to perform basic office/clerical tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and safety procedures.
