About the position

The Night Auditor position is a full-time role responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and guest accounts during overnight shifts. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel by performing night audit procedures, handling guest inquiries, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform night audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and guest accounts.
• Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day.
• Prepare reports summarizing daily financial activities, including revenue, occupancy rates, and room statistics.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using computer systems, including hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
